Every Canonico strap is produced inside our own workshops.
This gives us full control over every step, with no shortcuts and no compromises.

We use dedicated machinery and specialized know-how built over years of experience. From the internal structure to the smallest visible detail, every phase is designed with one goal in mind: creating a strap that keeps its shape, comfort and character over time.

Most straps on the market use a cardboard-based core.
We don’t.

Inside every Canonico strap we place a technical plastic reinforcement, designed to strengthen the entire structure.

This solution makes the strap:

  • stable and consistent over time
  • resistant to daily stress
  • virtually non-deformable

The same material is used around the holes and the lug opening, which are heat-treated during production.

The result?

Holes that don’t stretch, edges that don’t collapse, and a strap that looks the same after years of wear.

CERTIFIED LEATHER, CHOSEN WITH INTENTION

We only work with certified, high-quality leathers.
But good leather alone is never enough.

What really matters is how it’s worked, how it’s combined with the internal structure, and how it’s finished.
Each hide is carefully selected, cut and assembled with the final result in mind — not speed.

EDGES THAT WON’T MELT, STAIN OR DISAPPOINT

Another detail that’s often overlooked: the edges.

The edge paint we use is protected by a silicone-based treatment that:

  • prevents melting caused by sweat
  • avoids color transfer on the wrist
  • won’t stain clothes or the watch case

The strap stays clean, comfortable and reliable, even with daily wear.

Because a luxury strap should feel good on the wrist, not just look good in photos.
